Emotional Freedom Technique is a little bit like acupuncture, except we don’t use needles.
Instead, we use a simple two part process wherein we mentally “tune in” to specific issues while stimulating certain meridian points on the body by tapping on them with your fingertips.
It’s a technique that can be very useful in alleviating phobias, helping reduce pain, anxiety and the effect that triggers can play in our lives, whether they induce fear, sadness or other unwanted negative emotions.
EFT can give a rapid relief where an issue is causing emotional trauma for a person and is often a long term solution.
The process is something that once taught, might be a useful tool for anyone to take away with them after our therapy sessions have finished. I use the original method as taught by Gary Craig who brought the original EFT to the public in 1995.
