Join me in France for a short private retreat. Located in Lower Normandy I offer short private retreats in the beautiful Vallee See. This is an opportunity to take a moment out of your usual routine, take a break and also spend a few days working with me on chosen areas of your life in a tranquil enviroment.
Allowing time for travel before and after your stay to ensure you receive 2 full days to spend time in the beautiful environment here and make the most of the opportunties on offer. You will have 2 therapy sessions with me included in your stay, 1 on each of the 2 days. Sessions will usually be between 1 and 2 hours depending on how the sessions evolve. There are also optional additional opportunities that you can book to fill your days or you can simply use the time to unwind in the beautiful gardens and surrounding countryside.
4 day / 5 night Stay
Allowing time for travel before and after your stay to ensure you receive 4 full days to spend time in the beautiful environment here and make the most of the opportunties on offer. You will have 4 therapy sessions with me included in your stay, 1 on each of the 4 days. Sessions will usually be between 1 and 2 hours depending on how the sessions evolve. We run a B&B here at Les Trois Fenetres. One King size room with private en-suite shower room, direct access to the gardens and the summer kitchen and snug. The bed is an orthopedic electric bed for your ultimate comfort.
“Can I bring a friend/my partner?” – yes you can bearing in mind there is only the one bed. There is no extra charge for bringing your partner/friend – however, therapy sessions are yours alone and your partner/friend will need to entertain themselves during your session times.
Breakfast is included – we offer a French style continental breakfast , which includes croissants, fresh local meats and cheeses, jams, coffee, teas, and juices. As a B&B we don’t tend to offer evening meals but as part of the retreat we do offer a number of options for lunch and dinner, which you can choose and book each day. The first option is to eat what we’re having. We’ll let you know what’s on the menu and you can choose if you would like to eat what we’re eating – served in the summer kitchen for you. The second option is that we can direct you (or taxi you if you’re not here with a car) to a local restaurant. The third option is we can direct you (or taxi you) to the local super-market. There is a small cooler, a BBQ and a small stove/grill in the summer kitchen that you can use.
Therapy sessions will last from between 1 and 2 hours depending on how they develop. Length of time for a therapy session will have its optimum and is not always better to be longer. The sessions will likely take place in the garden therapy room, which is next to the river. We can incorporate creative therapy methods such as art, writing, music, visualisation or sand tray work – or it will be simply talking and listening – whatever you would like and is appropriate for the work.

Weather and climate
The weather in Normandy is very similar to that in the UK, although I think we do see a little bit more sunshine. We obviously can’t guarantee nice weather and depending on the time of year there may be hot sunshine, rain, wind or even snow in the winter. The garden can get pretty squidgy in the autumn and winter and even in the summer months the dew can be heavy on the ground, so some waterproof shoes would probably be useful for you. The indoor accomodation is warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
